چکیده
Polygon, subdivision, and NURBS are three mainstream modeling techniques widely applied in commercial software packages. They require heavy manual operations, involve a lot of design variables leading to big data, high storage costs slow network transmissions. In this paper, we integrate the strengths boundary-based surface creation partial differential equation (PDE)-based geometric obtain first analytical $$C^0$$ continuous 4-sided PDE patches involving sculpting force-based shape manipulation use them develop an interactive technique for easy quick 3D models with small data from vertex-frames. With technique, vertex frame is defined by eight vertices, patch created vertex-frame through solution vector-valued second-order subjected boundary conditions determined vertices vertex-frame. A user-friendly interface developed obtained solution, which enables users interactively input modify easily create real time. Different tasks carried out test tool compare our proposed method polygon Coons surfaces. The results demonstrate effectiveness its advantages reducing variables, saving costs, effective manipulation.

Variational techniques are a popular approach for reconstructing the surface of an object. In previous work, the surface is represented either implicitly by the use of level sets or explicitly as a triangle mesh. In this work, we choose a point-based surface representation. The rational behind is that the lack of topology information in point-based models makes it easier to handle topological c...
متن کاملInteractive Modeling using Surface Splines
In this paper we introduce a direct manipulation framework to model surface splines Pe-ters, 1993]. The framework presents the designer with intuitive tools to control the surface , however, the designer does not have to know any details of how the surface is represented. The surface spline is a parametric representation that permits us to model objects of arbitrary topology. The representation...
متن کاملDigitalSculpture: a subdivision-based approach to interactive implicit surface modeling
This paper presents DigitalSculpture, an interactive sculpting framework founded upon isosurfaces extracted from recursively subdivided, 3D irregular grids. Our unique implicit surface model arises from an interpolatory, volumetric subdivision scheme that is C continuous across the domains defined by arbitrary 3D irregular grids. We assign scalar coefficients and color to each control vertex an...

Variational techniques are a popular approach for reconstructing the surface of an object. In previous work, the surface is represented either implicitly by the use of level sets or explicitly as a triangle mesh. In this paper we describe new formulations and develop fast algorithms for surface reconstruction based on partial differential equations (PDEs) derived from variational calculus using...
متن کاملImage Restoration Using A PDE-Based Approach
Image restoration is an essential preprocessing step for many image analysis applications. In any image restoration techniques, keeping structure of the image unchanged is very important. Such structure in an image often corresponds to the region discontinuities and edges. The techniques based on partial differential equations, such as the heat equations, are receiving considerable attention i...
